Report: Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku willing to wait until last minute for Bayern Munich

According to a report from Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Chelsea FC attacker Christopher Nkunku could be willing to wait until the waning days of the summer transfer window to make a move if it means he is headed to Bayern Munich:

Christopher Nkunku is open to joining Bayern, even towards the end of the transfer window. Pini Zahavi maintains contact with Bayern and is aware that his client could become an option for them if they fail to land their priority targets. The Frenchman would cost

It seems as if Nkunku’s chances of joining Bayern Munich are likely tied to what happens with Bayern Munich’s pursuit of VfB Stuttgart attacker Nick Woltemade. Should Bayern Munich fail to land the German striker, Nkunku could be readily available to acquire.
