Angelo Stiller has been linked with a big move this summer away from VfB Stuttgart following two outstanding seasons with Die Schwäben, with the likes of Real Madrid heavily linked with the former Bayern Munich youth player. Unfortunately, both the start of the season and a potential move seem scuppered for the Germany international following a serious injury. VfB Stuttgart officially confirmed Stiller’s injury on their website:
The midfielder sustained an injury during Wednesday afternoon’s training
ADsession. Further examinations will follow on Thursday.
Angelo Stiller suffered a suspected ligament injury to his left ankle during Wednesday afternoon’s training session at the first team’s training camp in Rottach-Egern on Lake Tegernsee. As a result, the midfielder will not be able to take part in team training for the time being.
What a big shame it is for the 24-year-old. Hopefully, Stiller recovers as quickly as possible.
