As the calendar flips another page and we find ourselves in August and the beginning of preseason football, the Miami Dolphins continue to prepare themselves for the 2025 NFL season by practicing in sunny South Florida during the team’s training camp.
As you know, each day a Dolphins player is recognized for their practice performance from the previous session by earning the right to wear an orange jersey — which also allows that player to choose the music played that day at training camp.
Today’s
winner? Linebacker Jordyn Brooks!
Brooks is entering his second season in Miami after a 2024 year that saw him take a leadership role on defense. The 27-year-old finished with three sacks and a team leading 143 combined tackles for the Dolphins last season.
With a secondary littered with question marks as the regular season approaches, it will be paramount for Dolphins defenders at other positions to play to the best of their abilities to mask deficiencies on the back end. Brooks’ play will go a long way in determining how successful Miami can be in 2025.
We will be tracking which players receive the orange jersey honor as the offseason progresses. Want to help? Hit us up on Twitter/X at @thephinsider, or reach out to Marek Brave directly at @MBrave13, and let us know who is rocking the jersey with pride each day! Fins up!
