As has become the custom, WWE will hold a post-show following tonight’s (Sun., Aug. 3, 2025) SummerSlam premium live event from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Said post-show will include appearances from the top stars of the event and Chief Content Officer Triple H.
The event featured Cody Rhodes regaining the WWE championship by defeating John Cena in the main event before Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to the promotion, leaving the latter laid out in the middle of the ring.
Meanwhile, Dirty Dominik Mysterio channeled Eddie Guerrero to keep the Intercontinental title from AJ Styles, Solo Sikoa used his MFTs to beat Jacob Fatu and remain United States champion, Bayley accidentally helped Becky Lynch retain the women’s Intercontinental championship in her battle with Lyra Valkyria, The Wyatt Sicks won a wild TLC match to keep the WWE tag team titles, and Naomi stole one from Rhea Ripley (and, in turn, Iyo Sky) to stay women’s world champion.
