Marc Casado’s future is back in the spotlight amid speculation that Barcelona are willing to sell the midfielder this summer if acceptable offers arrive.
The latest update comes from Diario Sport and a report that Atletico Madrid are interested in the Barcelona star.
Sport say that Diego Simeone is a fan of Casado and feels he would be a good fit for his team.
Atletico haven’t made a move for Casado yet, but it’s said they are thinking about it amid talk that €30 million would be enough to convince
Barcelona to sell.
While Barca may be willing to sell, there’s absolutely no indication that Casado is willing to move, particularly to a rival such as Atletico.
The 21-year-old is a culer through and through and is currently living the dream by playing for Barcelona’s first team.
The only problem seems to be that competition for places will be even more intense at Barca next season, with Marc Bernal fit again, which could see Casado struggle for minutes.
