Amid the whirlwind of the 2024 season, it’s easy to forget that Penn State was once in a rock fight with Bowling Green.
On the day Notre Dame infamously fell to Northern Illinois, the Nittany Lions had a bit of a Week Two scare of their own. With just over four minutes left in the contest, Penn State led the Falcons by just three points after previously trailing at halftime. But, all it took was a Nicholas Singleton inside handoff, which he took 41 yards to the house, for the door to close on BGSU’s
upset bid.

Singleton finished the game with 119 rushing yards and two total touchdowns. Penn State, of course, walked away unscathed with a seven-point win.
Just 41 days until Penn State-Nevada.
