While the focus is on the upcoming 2025-2026 season for the Kentucky Wildcats, it’s never too early to look ahead to the 2026 recruiting class.
Maximo Adams, the sixth-best player in California and 40th-ranked player nationally (247 Sports), has been offered by Mark Pope and the Wildcats.
Kentucky is the 26th school to offer Adams and the fifth SEC school. The small forward is listed at 6-foot-6, 180 pounds from Harbor City, California.
This is the 10th offer Adams has received this month, but he does
not have an official visit to any of the 26 schools that have offered him. He holds additional offers from Alabama, Houston, Kansas, BYU, Oregon, Texas, USC, Missouri, and Illinois.
Adams hails from an athletic family. His older brother, Marcus Adams Jr., was the No. 51 player in the 2023 class. He’s currently on the Arizona State Sun Devils roster, after being named Second Team-All Big West as a sophomore at Cal State Northridge.
Maximo Adams’s player rating on 247 Sports is 93.
Very blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky. Thank you Coach Pope and Coach Cody for believing in me pic.twitter.com/Uf83OEcSbh
