After being overlooked initially, former Syracuse Orange women’s basketball star Brittney Sykes has been added to tomorrow’s WNBA All-Star Game.

Sykes will be taking the roster spot of Caitlin Clark, who miss the game in Indianapolis after suffering an injury this week. The former Orange guard is averaging 17.1 points and 4.4 assists per game. Sykes ranks

13th in the league in scoring and assists and gets the first All-Star game appearance for a Syracuse player.

Losing Clark puts a damper on the game, but it’s great to see Brittney earning recognition for her strong start to the 2025 season. Sykes will join her Mystics’ teammates Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen on Team Clark as they take on Team Collier.

The WNBA All-Star Game will be shown tomorrow night at 8:30 on ABC.

Congratulations to Brittney on this outstanding accomplishment.
