What's Happening?
Halliburton has been awarded a contract to provide completions and downhole monitoring services for the Northern Endurance Partnership's carbon capture and storage (CCS) system in northeast England's East Coast Cluster. The project involves manufacturing and delivering equipment from Halliburton's UK facility in Arbroath, which has supported North Sea operations for over 50 years. The infrastructure includes a CO2 gathering network, onshore compression facilities, a 145-km offshore pipeline, and subsea injection and monitoring systems. This system is designed to transport and permanently store up to 4 million tonnes of CO2 annually.
