Zong 4G, operated by China Mobile Pakistan, has become the first operator to commercially launch ZTE's high-power 8T8R ultra-broadband radio (UBR) and digital intelligent antenna (DIA) solution. This deployment aims to save tower space by reducing the number of required remote radio units (RRUs) by up to 67%. The new technology supports both 4G and 5G networks, offering significant performance enhancements, including a 34% increase in capacity for daily use and an 83% increase during peak hours.
