Macron, Lula, UAE's Crown Prince Among 20 World Leaders To Attend India’s AI Action Summit 2026

India has officially announced the list of 20 world leaders who will attend the India–AI Action Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 16 to 20.

The high-level summit, anchored around

three core themes — People, Planet and Progress — aims to shape global cooperation on artificial intelligence. The gathering will bring together heads of state, policymakers, innovators and experts to deliberate on the future of AI governance, ethics, and innovation.

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaders from 20 countries are set to participate. These include:

  • Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay of Bhutan

  • Vice President Edmundo Lara Montaño of Bolivia

  • President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil

  • Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of Croatia

  • President Alar Karis of Estonia

  • Prime Minister Petteri Orpo of Finland

  • President Emmanuel Macron of France

  • Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece

  • Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo of Guyana

  • Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov of Kazakhstan

  • Hereditary Prince Alois of Liechtenstein

  • Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam of Mauritius

  • President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia

  • President Peter Pellegrini of Slovakia

  • President Pedro Sánchez of Spain

  • President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka of Sri Lanka

  • Vice President Sebastien Pillay of Seychelles

  • President Guy Parmelin of Switzerland

  • Prime Minister Dick Schoof of the Netherlands

  • Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE

In addition to these leaders, ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries are expected to attend. The United Nations Secretary-General and senior officials from several international organisations will also participate in the deliberations.
