Saudi Arabia's AI venture Humain, backed by the Public Investment Fund, has partnered with AI startup Groq to deploy OpenAI's new open-source models, gpt-oss-120B and gpt-oss-20B, within Saudi Arabia. These models are hosted in Humain's sovereign data centers, ensuring compliance with the Kingdom's data sovereignty and regulatory requirements. The deployment offers high-speed AI inference performance, with gpt-oss-120B operating at over 500 tokens per second and gpt-oss-20B at over 1,000 tokens per second.
