The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has launched a new marketplace for Texas cities to access vetted artificial intelligence (AI) technology vendors. This initiative, part of the TXShare purchasing program, includes 77 suppliers offering solutions for over 70 use cases, such as cybersecurity, public safety, and resident engagement. The marketplace aims to simplify the procurement process for cities, allowing them to bypass complex RFPs and quickly obtain competitive bids. The project is a collaboration between NCTCOG Civic Marketplace and the Alliance for Innovation, addressing the growing demand for AI tools in government operations.
