UK-based Skyports Drone Services is collaborating with healthcare provider AZ Turnhout on this initiative, which started on August 1. The drones, approved for remote piloting from the UK, aim to reduce delivery costs and improve efficiency. Airspace receivers have been installed on hospital roofs to facilitate integration. The drones will carry medication and pathology samples, offering faster delivery compared to traditional methods.
