With 31 days to go until Penn State’s season opener against Nevada, we’re hopping into the time machine to honor linebacker Mac Morrison, who was one of the starting linebackers alongside LaVar Arrington on that vaunted 1999 defense, and was also the rare recruit from Washington state. In fact, I’m not sure if PSU had another guy from Washington on its roster until Vega Ioane, but those of you with a little more time on your hands can Google sleuth this and prove me wrong. Anyway, check out Mac’s
highlight video above, from that ‘99 season.
These days, Mac is working as a Financial Representative in Columbus, Ohio. We also have a pair of run-ons rocking the No. 31 jersey on this year’s roster in redshirt junior safety Kolin Dinkins and redshirt junior wide receiver Logan Cunningham.
