The United States Men’s National Team have added more quality matches to their fall schedule. Today, U.S. Soccer announced that the USMNT will face Ecuador and Australia in October friendlies in Austin and Denver.

The first match will see the USMNT face Ecuador on October 10th at Q2 Stadium in Austin. Kickoff is set for 8:30pm ET. The team will then travel to face Australia at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado on October 14th. Kickoff for that match will be at 9:00pm ET.

Both Ecuador and Australia have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, giving the USMNT another chance to face teams that they might see next summer. Ecuador is ranked 25th in the latest FIFA world rankings, while the Socceroos are 24th. The USMNT are an even 5W-5L-5D against Ecuador, with the last meeting being a 1-0 U.S. victory back in March 2019. The USMNT also carry an even 1W-1L-1D against Australia, with their last matchup coming in a friendly occurring just before the start of the 2010 World Cup. The USMNT are undefeated at both Q2 Stadium and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park with a combined record of 9W-0L-0D between them.

The United States will face South Korea and Japan in friendlies in September, and will schedule two more friendlies in the November international window to close out the season. The October window gives the team yet another chance to prepare for the World Cup by hosting some tough competition from other confederations.
