The Yankees are back in the Bronx, and they had a day to lick their wounds after falling further behind the Blue Jays in the standings. Their road trip started out promising with a series victory over Atlanta, but a sloppy series with Toronto only served to highlight their flaws as they continued their poor play within the AL East. Now they move onto another tough foe in the Phillies, recently dethroned from the NL East top spot.
