Bayern Munich has hit a wall on several transfer targets this summer.
Some of those situations have been due to the player not actually being available, while others have seen a steep price attached to the players. Some others just opted go elsewhere.
According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich is now expanding its search to include a potential pursuit of Arsenal FC’s Leandro Trossard:
Sporting director Max Eberl (51) is looking for a new winger and has already sent Liverpool FC a €52 million offer for Luis
ADDiaz (28) . But the English champions aren’t willing to let their star player go.
Now, Arsenal ‘s Leandro Trossard is on Bayern’s list. According to BILD, the 45-time Belgian international is an option if the Diaz deal falls through.
The Gunners want to extend his contract, but the player is still hesitant. The reason: FC Bayern and other top clubs are showing interest. Trossard also changed management in July and is now being advised by German agent Dirk Hebel.
At 30-years-old, Trossard is a little older than many (if not all) of Bayern Munich’s other transfer targets, but he could also be less expensive. That could appeal to the Bavarians if the price on VfB Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade continues to rise. Trossard at left-wing could be on the table...would you be a fan of that move?
