Smackdown. Le Hiedra stepped in as the replacement without Page understanding her Spanish. The rest is history. Iguana and Lola now hold the gold.
Page didn’t have much time to think. Green phoned him about her absence and showed her injured foot in a walking boot. That’s when Hiedra took the opportunity to boss Page to the ring as his new partner. At least she was kind enough to slap him on the caboose.
For story context, Hiedra is the former mixed tag champ with Mr. Iguana. Page and Green won the belts off them. Hiedra has been a bossy Toxica the whole time, and she dumped Iguana. Meanwhile, Lola was vibing with Iguana as a love interest. Lola beat Hiedra with Iguana as special guest referee to determine his partner for this match. That’s why Hiedra’s inclusion fits seamlessly into the story.
On the finish, Iguana was on the apron with La Yesca to distract Hiedra. Page snatched the puppet. Lola shoved Hiedra into Page. On the bounce back, Lola uncorked a head kick to pin Hiedra for the win.
