The New Day lost the world tag team titles to The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & JD McDonagh a few weeks back. They haven’t been in action since, but that changed on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Houston, Texas.
They were getting a chance to earn another crack at the titles in a triple threat match that also featured The Creed Brothers and the LWO.
But while so much of the focus of the match was on New Day and its story, it was the LWO who emerged victorious to get their own story going.
El Grande Americano found himself arguing with Dragon Lee backstage before the match, and when Lee got involved in this one so did El Grande. It created a ton of chaos:

In the end, the LWO took advantage of that and pinned New Day to earn a future world tag team title match. It was not made clear when exactly that will be.
