Cursed card? UFC 319 loses its second fight in 24 hours

WHAT'S THE STORY?

Even with a last-second addition, UFC 319 has gotten a bit shorter in the last 48 hours.

Not long after King Green was forced to withdraw from his “Prelims” headliner

versus fellow Lightweight veteran Carlos Diego Ferreira, the fight card has taken another hit. A new Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Welterweight champion was supposed to be crowned when Rodrigo Sezinando squared off with Daniil Donchenko, but the bout has been canceled due to injury per a UFC announcement.

is injured, but the promotion intends to rebook the finale match at a later date. Thankfully, the Flyweight finale between Joseph Morales vs. Alibi Idiris will still move forward as planned.

Rodrigo Sezinando advanced to the TUF 33 welterweight final by winning a split decision over Jeff Creighton in the semis. Daniil Donchenko, meanwhile, earned his spot by delivering a first‑round TKO over Matt Dixon in the semifinals. Both were hoping to earn the famed TUF “six-figure contract” and start their official UFC careers off with a victory, but the Team Cormier athletes will have to wait for a later date.

Losing two fights sucks, but at least it’s not Khamzat pulling out …
