The Braves and Giants will settle their series as 12:15 pm ET today. That’s pretty early! It’s not like, the absolute earliest — remember those weird Sunday games that start at 11:00 am local time for some reason? But, the question, which I need to get out of the way right now because I also have game coverage today for said 12:15 pm ET start, is whether that’s too early or not. So, I’ll leave that up to you.
I wonder if there are people that find the intricacies of specific game-time scheduling fascinating.
I’m not really one of them. But like, if most day games are a 1:00 pm local time start, why do some start around noon instead? There’s probably an answer out there somewhere, but I need to go write words about Spencer Strider tangling with Justin Verlander now.
