According to a report from KickStreaming reporter Pipe Sierra (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Luis Díaz has asked Liverpool FC to accept the next offer from Bayern Munich — unless the Reds have a big fat deal to offer him as the two parties discussed last May:
Luis Díaz has asked Liverpool to accept Bayern’s upcoming offer if they are not going to offer him a new (improved) deal as they had promised him in May. The Colombian wants to improve his conditions and seize the chance of moving to Bayern.
Bayern
Munich has — allegedly — offered Díaz a massive raise, which could be spurring his push to get Liverpool to accept Bayern Munich’s next bid.
The interesting part of the story is that it does look as if Díaz is open to staying at Liverpool — if he gets the big pay boost that was previously discussed.
So much is going on in the land of Bayern Munich these days....Thomas Müller looks like he is headed to LAFC, but there could be bigger issues than that loss of personnel in Bavaria. There could be a disconnect in Bayern Munich’s office between the executives, the supervisory board, and the coaches, while VfB Stuttgart could be just as wacky as Bayern Munich these days. Let’s talk about why and also catch up on injured stars Hiroki Itō, Alphonso Davies, and Jamal Musiala! You can get all that and more on the latest edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show!
