The Open Championship was absolutely incredible. We all know that.
Scottie Scheffler made the weekend boring with his stellar play and in the process picked up the third leg of the grand slam. He has yet to turn 30 years old, by the way.
While all golf tournaments are special there are clearly some that we each hold in higher regard than others. The Open falls in that category what with its rich history and attention to detail.
On the subject of detail, part of what made the Open so incredible was the detail offered
by PLATFORM Golf. As shots were hit, viewers at home were able to understand on the broadcast what different situations players were in: slopes, conditions, etc etc.
The Open Zone is where this action took place at Royal Portrush and as you can see... it was spectacular.

The utilization of graphics and ball tracking provided by TruGolf and Science & Motion helped to help visualize how shots were playing out as the weekend unfolded. This is the exact type of thing that golf fans love watching at home. We want to know what players are experiencing and the circumstances surrounding it.
Well done by PLATFORM Golf.
