The Cincinnati Bengals will take the football field next week for their first preseason game. That means these training camp practices are starting to mean a bit more as we get closer to the regular season.
The big piece of news that we will focus mostly on today is that Trey Hendrickson turns his holdout into a hold-in as he showed up for practice in street clothes.

When the news broke that Hendrickson was returning to camp without a deal, many
assumed it was to hold-in and avoid fines, but we got confirmation when he walked out to practice in street clothes.
Despite that, he was still very involved in practice.

Big guys are returning to practice
The Bengals got 4 trench players back in pads today. Defensive tackle BJ Hill has been a missed presence. Rookie offensive linemen Dylan Fairchild and Seth McLaughlin got on the field. McLaughlin was expected to miss more time with rehab, but he was on the field for individual drills.
Fairchild had just missed a few days. Lucas Patrick also suited up again.

Defense keeps making noise
The defense has obviously been a point of emphasis for offseason coverage for Cincinnati. They were a big issue and a big reason why the team failed to make the playoffs.
So far, they have been looking impressive making big plays against what will likely be a top offense in the NFL.

Here are some of the best sights from the offensive side of the ball to brighten your Wednesday afternoon.
Andrei Iosivas probably gets a special hat tip for an especially nice practice.
