After confronting his former Wise Man Paul Heyman and his news acolyte Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed on this past Monday’s Raw, Roman Reigns proposed a tag match between himself & his cousin Jey Uso against Heyman’s duo.
Main Event Jey quickly said YEET:
And today (July 23), Heyman accepted on behalf of his team. He did so when asked about Reigns’ challenge by TMZ’s Adam Glyn in a video originally posted on TikTok. Asked for his thoughts on OTC1’s challenge, Heyman replied:
“Roman Reigns has picked his poison, now Roman Reigns can pick the date. Saturday, Sunday — it doesn’t matter to us. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed accept the challenge for Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at SummerSlam.”
“Welcome to my island of relevancy. And right over the bridge? In Jersey? We’ll leave them both buried next to Jimmy Hoffa.”
Glyn then wanted to know if the match was “official”. The WWE Hall of Famer scoffed:
“Is it official? My name is Paul Heyman. If I say it — it’s biblical, bitches.”
