Former Bayern Munich prospect Frans Krätzig moved to RedBull Salzburg earlier this summer, but it is never too early to plan for the future, right?
When asked if he would mind a return to Bavaria at some point, Krätzig did not deny that the scenario could be appealing.
“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Anyone who doesn’t want to play for Bayern has misunderstood the football business. It’s very conceivable for me to return to FC Bayern at some point. But for now, I want to continue
developing in Salzburg. I’ll take step one, two, and three here. Maybe step four will be a return to FC Bayern,” Krätzig told Spox journalist Nino Tuit (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Krätzig answered that about as well as he could have. After a scorching start to his Bayern Munich career, a few loan stints produced mixed results, which led to his transfer. Maybe, though, his game will mature and he could find his way back to the Allianz Arena.
With a move for Hugo Ekitiké getting close, the reality is that Bayern Munich is likely going to get Luis Diaz…whether fans like it or not. Bayern Munich has reportedly also exited talks with VfB Stuttgart to focus on a deal for Diaz. It might also just be time for Bayern Munich to rip off the band-aid and sell Kim Min-jae, João Palhinha, and Sacha Boey. Finally, we have a note Bayer Leverkusen’s CEO and his recent slam on Bayern.
