WWE does what it can to push its Legends & Future Greats show, namely by doing things like having talent from said show make appearances on episodes of NXT television. Such was the case this week, which led to current TNA Champion Trick Williams popping off at the mouth to Team Undertaker:
.@_trickwilliams has no time for WWE LFG's Team Undertaker...
is going to take too kindly to that pic.twitter.com/m1vN5KtxB0— WWE (@WWE) July 16, 2025
Not sure @undertaker
The coach was watching and instantly made clear he’ll be coming to
town when NXT runs Houston, Texas for next week’s show:
.@_TrickWilliams, you disrespect my #WWELFG team…you disrespect me!
— Undertaker (@undertaker) July 16, 2025
I’ll be in H-Town next week. With or without the TNA title…you might want to stay out my yard!
Trick Willy responded by simply posting a GIF acknowledging The Deadman’s presence. I’m mostly reeling that we live in a world now where The Undertaker is posting about going to a WWE developmental show to defend a team he is coaching on another show against a WWE contracted talent who holds the TNA championship. It’s a great way to convince as many viewers as possible they need to be watching even more wrestling in order to make sense of all this.
Or just tune in to NXT TV next week to see how the Undertaker deals with Trick.
