The Miz’s hosting gig for American Gladiators kept him off WWE programming for the last six weeks or so, but the A-Lister finally made his return during tonight’s (July 25) episode of SmackDown in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
The Miz came back with a splash, making the bold decision to interrupt Jacob Fatu’s backstage promo while he was verbally going off on Solo Sikoa. Miz blamed Fatu for his absence and wanted a match against him tonight.
This man must have completely lost his mind over the last
six weeks while he was away from WWE, because he proceeded to slap Jacob in the face with authority. Fatu laughed it off, probably because he knew he was going to murder this fool in the ring in just a few moments.

We may never know if Miz can survive more than three minutes in fair fight with the Samoan Werewolf, because Sikoa and the MFTs soon made their way to the ring to distract Jacob.
The numbers game didn’t really slow down Fatu all that much. He dove outside the ring to take out the MFTs, before finishing off The Miz for the three count inside the ring.
Jimmy Uso then came out to help Jacob fight off the MFTs after the match was over. Fatu beat the crap out of four men by himself at one point, but the very large Tala Tonga was ultimately the difference maker who turned the tide in favor of the heels. Fatu was left laying after a Samoan Spike from Solo.
THIS IS CHAOS!

Do you think a similar scene will play out when the MFTs break into the steel cage at SummerSlam during Sikoa’s United States title defense against Jacob? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
