Nebraska Cornhuskers Head Coach Matt Rhule has confirmed that 2024 LSU transfer tight end Mac Markway is out for the season after it was confirmed the ACL surgery performed in September of 2024 has “failed”.
After some swelling appeared in the knee after practice this week, an MRI was performed and showed the replacement ligament had again been torn. Rhule said there was no specific incident or contact which specifically caused the injury.
