Franco Mastantuono will take his first official steps as a Real Madrid player tomorrow, with a presentation at Real Madrid City scheduled for 1:00 PM. The event falls on the same day he turns 18.
The former River Plate prodigy will now be of legal age to formally join the first team once he signs his contract. Though his official unveiling is tomorrow, Mastantuono has actually been in Madrid since August 3rd, quietly acclimating to his new surroundings. He’s expected to take the number 25 shirt —
the only available squad number.
From tomorrow onward, the Argentine winger can train with Xabi Alonso’s squad ahead of their La Liga opener against Osasuna.
If all goes according to plan, Mastantuono’s official debut at the Santiago Bernabéu could come as soon as the Osasuna match.
