Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is raring to go ahead of the start of pre-season in Japan.
The France international has posted a message on Instagram full of enthusiasm and motivation as he prepares for another campaign with the Catalan giants.
Kounde wrote: “First pre-season game tomorrow in Kobe. Year 9. Ready to go. Hungry as ever. Let’s hunt!!”
The defender will be hoping to add more titles to his collection next season after helping Barca win La Liga, the
Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup last season.
Kounde is also expected to pen a new contract extension at the club shortly that will tie him to Barcelona until 2030.
Hansi Flick’s side are currently preparing to play Vissel Kobe in their first pre-season fixture on Sunday in Japan. The team will then travel to South Korea to face FC Seoul and Daegu before jetting back for the Gamper Trophy against Como.
