This Saturday will feature one of the highlights of my year. The third Saturday in July marks the Timber Creek charity golf tournament in Panora, Iowa. The golf course, Lake Panorama, is a beautiful course that I enjoy a ton. Afterwards, I’ll be spending some hard earned money on auctioned off items that I don’t need, but is just fun to bid on and win.
My team will consist of myself, my father-in-law Al, my oldest brother-in-law Mike, and a good friend (and more importantly fellow Husker fan) Jay.
We play against my other brother-in-law Scott, his wife Hannah, and their good friends Warren and Brett.

Each year we play for the “Panorama Cup”, which is something we had created for ourselves as a little friendly wager. My team hasn’t won it in a handful of years now, but I like our chances. So wish me luck Corn Nation readers, and as always...here are your flakes...
