
Barcelona have announced that Ibrahim Diarra has been ruled out of the club’s forthcoming tour of Asia due to injury.
Diarra is one of several youngsters currently training with the first team ahead of the tour but has now been sidelined after picking up a problem.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:
“The Barça Atlètic player Ibrahim Diarra has a muscle tear in the rectus femoris of his right leg. He will not travel with the first team for the tour in Japan and Korea, and his return to the team dynamics
ADwill be determined based on his recovery progress.”

The news is a massive blow for Diarra who will have been hoping to impress Hansi Flick ahead of the new campaign.
The 18-year-old is a very highly-rated talent, who is believed to have attracted offers already, and has been tipped to make it into the first team.
Let’s hope the injury is not too serious and he can recover quickly.
