
Real Madrid are set to return to training on Monday in preparations for the new 2025-26 season.
The players will have their medical examinations in the morning, and then at 6pm, they will come out to train for the first time for this new season.
This would be Xabi Alonso’s first proper season in charge, and it is interesting to see what he has in store for the players after the Club World Cup exit.
Real Madrid will play a friendly in Austria on August 12 against WSG Tirol in order to rejuvenise themselves
for the new season, before La Liga starts just a week later.
Defender Alvaro Carreras will train with Real Madrid for the first time on Monday, as he was announced as a new player just after the end of the Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, midfielder Franco Mastantuono will have to wait till mid August to complete his first training session, even though he has already arrived in Madrid.
