Following UFC Abu Dhabi’s early conclusion yesterday, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans were treated to more action with LFA 213, which took place last night (Sat., July 27, 2025) at the iconic Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, California.
In the ‘Featured bout’ of LFA 213, 6’4” lightweight Loai Abushaar, a +380 underdog, faced Edmund Kwan. Just 51 seconds into the fight, Abushaar delivered a filthy knee to knock Kwan out cold.
Abushaar dominated the brief 55-second bout, landing knees and front kicks
while thwarting Kwan’s takedown attempt.

Abushaar (5-1) could be an interesting prospect to keep an eye on. He shared in his post-fight interview that he left his comfy job at JPMorgan Chase to pursue fighting full-time again.
The 23-year-old is training at Arizona’s often overlooked MMA Lab and maintains a perfect 100% finish rate with five first-round stoppages—three knockouts and two submissions.
Meanwhile, Kwan (4-1) saw his undefeated record and 10-fight win streak, stretching back to his amateur days, crumble.
