The Guardians completed their 2025 MLB draft work yesterday.

Ryan Prager stood out to me as a player the Guardians should have a good shot of maximizing, but I will leave the analysis to the experts like our Brian Hemminger, Matt Seese and Zach F. My plate is a bit too full to pay

Here is Zack Meisel's take on the first day of the draft for the Guardians. He also wrote up what the Guardians have to do make the playoffs in the second half.

Cleveland Guardians Prospective reported on Twitter that top Guardians draft picks Jace Laviolette had a small second hand surgery to clean up from his first surgery. So he probably won't debut this season. Justin Lada of Locked on Guardians and Next Year in Cleveland reported that the Guardians have brought hitting coach Junior Betances up from Columbus to Cleveland to replace Jason Esposito who went to Vanderbilt. One can only hope that will help.

Cal Raleigh won the MLB Home Run Derby. Vinnie Pasquantino provided great running commentary.
