Any true Wolfpack fan is going to simultaneously get hungry and a little nostalgic watching this one. Everyone knows that picture of Jimmy V at the ESPYs. And let me tell you, if you haven’t been to Amedeo’s … I don’t know what to say. The Chicken Parm, the Stromboli, the pizza, the meatball sub – excuse me, it’s lunch time.

Quick Refresher:
Ven is a 6’8” / 230 forward / center. He was a 4-star transfer from another university. This is his final season of eligibility.
Ven grew up
in Orlando. FL.
He led Orlando Christian Prep to the 2020 state championship while holding down a 4.0 GPA.
He was recruited by Mike Brey to Notre Dame where he averaged 6.2 / 4.4 as a freshman. He led the team in FG% and blocked shots. That was Coach Brey’s final season.
He transferred to Vanderbilt to play for Coach Stackhouse and started 28 games (missing the other six due to injury). He averaged 12.3 / 6.3. He led the team in FG% and blocked shots. That was Coach Stackhouse’s final season.
He transferred again as a junior. He averaged 8.6 / 5.6 and let the team in FG% with 67.7%, the second highest in school history for a full-time player. He also led the team in rebounding and blocked shots.
