It’s deadline week! For those of you who are like myself, this is the most chaotic and entertaining week of the year, for those of opposite opinion, you’ve been ready for this week to be over since Curt’s first piece calling them sellers in April. Whichever side of the spectrum you fall into this episode is very informative and from the perspective of a man who covers the team, talks to the players and staff, and the front office on a regular basis and is very tied in on their thinking.
We talked
Cardinals play out of the break, the Erick Fedde trade, why Nolan Arenado continues to bat 5th when producing a 43 wRC+ since June 22nd, who’s likely to stay or go, and a little bit about Chaim Bloom and JJ Wetherholt.
Jeff selected prelude/angry young man by Billy Joel as his walkup music. We thank Jeff for his time and participation in the episode!
