What's Happening?
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) are set to host the 21st Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa camp in Kigali, Rwanda, from August 23 to August 26. This marks the first time the camp will be held in East Africa, following previous editions in countries like Angola, Egypt, Senegal, and South Africa. The camp will bring together 60 top male and female players under 18 from across Africa to learn from NBA, WNBA, and FIBA players, legends, and coaches. Participants will engage in life-skills, leadership development, and social responsibility programs. The initiative aims to provide a platform for young players to develop their skills and reach higher levels in basketball.
