Richard Lee Muegge of Bloomingdale, Illinois, passed away on August 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Robert, and his parents, Clemens Muegge and Eileen Mudd Muegge. Richard is survived by his wife Lisa (Betty), his brother David, nephews Jon and Brent, grandnephew Brent, grandnieces Breanna and Carina, and two generations of his wife's numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 21st at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels in Roselle, Illinois, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Isidore Church in Bloomingdale on Friday, August 22. Donations in Richard's memory can be made to Save the Children or the People’s Resource Center in Wheaton, Illinois.
