Welsh Government Collaborates on New Volunteering Approach to Enhance Community Engagement

What's Happening?

The Welsh Government, in collaboration with UK Research and Consultancy Services, WCVA, and various stakeholders, is developing a new approach to volunteering in Wales. This initiative aims to update and expand existing volunteering policies, aligning them with the latest research findings and best practices observed both within Wales and internationally. The Volunteering Cross Sectoral Leadership Group is spearheading this effort and is set to create an Implementation Plan to facilitate the adoption of this new approach across the region.
