Mary Lourdes 'Lou' H. O'Toole, a beloved figure in Glenview, Illinois, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on August 5, 2025. Known for her dedication to family and community, O'Toole was a lifelong artist and painter who attended the School of the Art Institute. She was actively involved in various community and school organizations, including the Sauganash Garden Club and the Loyola Academy Mothers Club. O'Toole was also a devoted parishioner and Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview. She is survived by her husband Gerard C. Hillsman, her children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation and funeral mass are scheduled for August 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, with a private burial to follow on August 11 at All Saints Cemetery.
