What's Happening?
Kongsberg Maritime has been contracted by Consórcio Marenova to design and equip four methanol/ethanol-ready handy size product tankers for Petrobras Transporte S.A (Transpetro). The vessels will be built
in Brazil by a partnership between Ecovix and MacLaren. The contract, valued at over 300 million NOK, includes ship design and integrated systems such as propulsion, deck machinery, and advanced navigation solutions.
