In Roseville, Minnesota, the Alexander Ramsey High School class of 1975 recently experienced a poignant reunion with their past. The class, consisting of approximately 550 students, had buried a time capsule containing letters they wrote to their future selves. Originally intended to be opened in the year 2000, the capsule was lost during school renovations and remained undiscovered for decades. It was only recently unearthed by chance during construction work on the school grounds. On a Saturday night at the Rosetown American Legion, former students gathered to read their letters, which evoked a range of emotions. Diane Kinderwater, one of the alumni, expressed disbelief and nostalgia as she read her letter, reflecting on her high school experiences and aspirations. Similarly, Sue Norman and Judy Russell were moved by the personal insights and dreams they had penned 50 years ago.
