The Community Foundation of St. Clair County is organizing the 200+ Women Who Care event on September 24 at Solitude Links in Kimball. This event will bring together over 200 women to connect with 15-20 local nonprofits and decide on the distribution of $15,000 in grants. The allocation includes $10,000 to the nonprofit with the most votes, $2,500 to a randomly selected favorite nonprofit, $1,500 to a nonprofit that has not previously received a grant, and $1,000 to a nonprofit chosen by a randomly selected attendee. The event will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, with registration open until September 8 for those wishing to nominate a nonprofit.
