Kyle Carmean has been appointed as the vice president of news and content for WTTG Fox 5 DC and WDCA Fox 5 Plus. In his new role, Carmean will be responsible for overseeing all editorial, business, and administrative functions for the stations and their streaming services. Carmean has been a part of the Fox Television Stations for two decades, having joined WTTG/WDCA in 2014 as assistant news director. His previous experience includes serving as managing editor at WTXF Fox 29 Philadelphia for nine years and working as a nightside desk manager for WJZ-TV 13 in Baltimore, Maryland. Carmean began his broadcasting career as a producer and bureau chief for WBOC-TV in Dover, Delaware. Sue Diviney, senior vice president and general manager of the duopoly, praised Carmean's innovative approach and creative vision, which have contributed to the stations' success over the past decade.
