The report highlights that while renewal rates increased year-over-year, they were lower compared to the first quarter of 2025. Commercial auto renewal rates rose by 8.4%, down from 9.2% in Q1. Similarly, commercial property rates increased by nearly 8%, a decrease from 8.6% in Q1. Businessowners policy (BOP) and umbrella rates also saw reduced increases, with BOP up by 7.9% and umbrella rates by 9.1%. Workers' compensation rates continued to decline, with a decrease of 1.75% in Q2 compared to 1.5% in Q1. General liability was the only line to see a higher increase in Q2 than Q1, rising to 4.7% from nearly 4%.
