Bellevue Man Sentenced for $7 Million Stolen Goods Scheme Using Amazon and eBay
Andrey Balun, a resident of Bellevue and Las Vegas, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for his involvement in a scheme to sell stolen goods on Amazon and eBay. Balun, along with his co-defendant Vitaliy Bobak, operated MBA Trading LLC, which knowingly purchased stolen goods from local retailers and sold them online for significant profits. The scheme involved over-the-counter medications and health products, with sales totaling nearly $7 million. Despite being aware of law enforcement scrutiny, Balun continued the operation, leading to his conviction and a $1 million forfeiture agreement.
