Bar Kupershtein, a former hostage who endured 738 days of captivity by Hamas militants, is finding moments of joy in Los Angeles. Kupershtein, who was released in October 2025, joined a group of Israeli children battling cancer on a trip organized by Lehosheet Yad. The organization provides these children with a break from their medical treatments by bringing them to Los Angeles for a 'dream vacation.' Kupershtein, originally in the U.S. for a speaking tour, decided to join the children, offering them a chance to experience happiness and normalcy. His presence has been a source of inspiration and joy for the children.
